The architecture of shrines has a structural style with an Islamic character, carrying planning and architectural features and characteristics that distinguish it from other buildings, due to the specificity of its function as a shrine for an important Islamic or historical figure, which makes the building carry many symbolic and symbolic aspects within its architectural composition, and for this reason a number of influences play an effective role in the nature of the architecture of shrines, which obliges the designer to use familiar or unfamiliar architectural vocabulary that suits the nature of the building and is compatible with the spirit of the building. Our research deals with one of those prominent Islamic shrines, which is the shrine of "Al-Bahlol Al-Kufi", to unveil its planning and architectural aspects, and to be a documentary record whose primary goal is to preserve part of the remaining Islamic architectural heritage in this shrine.
