Author Guidelines

Journal of Studies in History and Archeology is pleased to announce to the esteemed researchers that it publishes researches in historical and archaeological disciplines, according to the following conditions:

The first page of the research should include:

  • Title of the research in both English and Arabic
  • Name of Researcher in both English and Arabic, his scientific degree, qualifications, his/her scientific  specialization and place of work.
  • Researcher's e-mail and phone number
  • Two abstracts; one is in Arabic and the other is in English (Letter size 14).
  • Researcher shall provide the journal elictronic copie of the research.
  • Margins and references must be in (APA) system.

It should be printed by computer using Office 2010. The Editing Team should be provided with a copy of it all together with a copy on CD as one folder only; the research can not be divided on more than a folder on the disc.

Number of research pages should not be more than 30 (Size A4)

The research should be free of lingual, grammatical and writing mistakes.

The research should be printed by using Word. Diagrams and shapes to be positioned (if any) in the right place of the research. They should be technically good for printing. Symbols should not be included in the research.

The researcher should comply with types and sizes of Fonts as follow:

  • Arabic: (Simplified Arabic- Font size 14)
  • English: (Times New Roman- Font size 16), abstracts (Font 12). All other pages of the research shall be (Font 14).
  • Text processor must be used

Number of lines should not be more than 30 lines/page

The researcher shall be notified if or if not the research is fit for publishing within a period not later than 2 months from the time it reached the Editing Team.

The researcher shall comply with the amendments the adjudicators may do on the research according to the reports sent to him. The journal shall be informed within a period not later than 15 days.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, or PDF file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

 The names of individuals and e-mail addresses saved in the Journal website will be used exclusively for the purposes set out by the Journal and will not be available for any other purposes or for any third part.
