This study analyzes the impact of the Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1979 on Iranian- Syrian relations, focusing on political alignment economic cooperation ,and cultural – ideological interaction during the late 1970 and 1980 s .It argues that the revolution constituted a major turning point that reshaped Syria's regional role and contributed to the establishment of along – term strategic alliance between Damascus and Tehran .Adopting ahistorical –analytical approach , the study examines Syrian political positions towards the revolution , the diversity of societal responses within Syria , and the expansion of bilateral relation through oil agreements ,economics support and cultural diplomacy . the findings indicates that Iranian and Syrian relation
extended beyond pragmatics interties to include an ideological dimension that influenced domestics discourse and regional strategies reinforcing Syria's position within the axis opposing Western and Israeli influence .
