The evolution of the Parliament under Charles I and its effect on England (1625-1649)

The study examined the development of the Parliament during the reign of King Charles I and his influence on England (1625-1649). His reign was characterized by increasing conflicts with the Parliament, although this conflict appeared during the reign of his father King James I because of his need for money to finance his wars. The stages of the development of the parliament and the ways it took to face these obstacles, which were represented in the individual rule and absolute monarchy and the right of divine kings to govern, as these conflicts led to the dissolution of Parliament for eleven years, and ruled King Charles I England individually, Who issue the original regulations in 1628 And the great protest in 1641, which led to the first bishops' war, the first civil war and the second civil war, and the parliament was able to weaken the monarch's absolute authority and liberate him from royal restrictions and issue his laws according to the provisions of the constitution.
