Among the most important landmarks discovered in the city of Assyria during the excavations conducted during the excavation seasons (1999-2002) was what was known as the Assyrian House and the Priest’s House, as large numbers of cuneiform texts were revealed in them, and they are preserved in the Iraqi Museum. Some of the texts were selected, photographed, reproduced, translated, analyzed, and revealed. It has economic implications that reflected the economic and cultural reality that characterized the city of Assyria, and demonstrated the extent of sophistication and development in economic transactions and their organization in the modern Assyrian era. They were, of course, written down in the same prevailing style for this era in terms of calligraphy, organization, and preambles to transactions. Moreover, these texts are almost free of breakage and shattering. Therefore, it constituted an obstacle in the nature of translation and analysis.
