This research examines the leather industries in Mesopotamia, focusing on the raw materials used from slaughtered or dead animals, the manufacturing processes, and daily uses. It relies on documented cuneiform texts and archaeological evidence. The study also highlights the role of leather in the economic and social life, and presents examples of museum tablets that confirm the widespread and diverse use of leather during that era
