Abstract
خان حسين خواجه
يقع خان حسين خواجه في محلة 206 , زقاق 58 , رقم مبنى الخان 304 مدينة الحلة, محافظة بابل من الخانات الداخلية لمدينة بابل وسمي هذا الخان نسبة إلى بانيه السيد حسين بن رضا بن احمد خواجه الذي شيده في العصر العثماني المتأخر سنة 1880م ليكون مخزنًا للحبوب والتمور ومركزًا تجاريًا لأسرته ([i]), مما يؤكد ذلك صورة الختم الذي استخدم في الخان لأتمام المعاملات التجارية من قبل ادارة الخان في العصر العثماني (لوح-128 ), ومن الجدير بالذكر أن الغرض الرئيسي من التشييد ليكون مستشفى ( بيمارستان ) في الحلة بعد أخذ موافقة الباب العالي في تركيا إلا أن الادارة العثمانية رفضت لعدم تمكنها من تأثيث المستشفى وتجهيزها
